Paint, trim, and cabinets!

This week has been a busy one! Kyle an I took some time off work to get the house primed. We got the hole house done in about a day and a half. The paint sprayer was so worth it! Here is Kyle painting the master bathroom. Can you see his white hair and shirt?
Good thing it was latex paint and it washed right off our skin and hair!

We got the well and electric hooked up Wednesday! So here's the boring pictures of that:

The white pipe on top of the ground is the line for the sump pump.

The trim and cabinets were delivered on Tuesday and were installed today. I was so excited about the cabinets that I didn't  take any pictures of the trim. But everyone knows what that looks like right? Oh. And we got doors too! I am SO excited about the cabinets! They look great! And they have drawers inside the low cabinets!!!

The island will have an eat ledge on the left side.

Everything is going so fast now! We went to lowes tonight to buy some paint samples so we are for sure about what we want. Can't wait to see what they look like!

Ceiling texture

The guys doing the ceiling texture called Kyle earlier this week to ask what kind of pattern we wanted. We changed from what we originally picked, knockdown, to a texture called tree bark. I was nervous about it but once we saw it I loved it!

Upcoming schedule:
Saturday and Sunday drywall sanding
Sunday and Monday priming
Tuesday trim

It kind of looks like tiger stripes too! Who Dey!

Drywall and siding and a trench!

Sorry I have been SOOO bad at updating this!

Within the last week we have had drywall installed, and mudded. Siding installed in one day. Gutters installed (It only took them on hour!) and we dug a trench for the electric from the meter to the house.

We are waitng on the drywall to be sanded and the ceiling to be textured before we can get in there and paint.

Heres the pictures!

Drywall!

Drywall has been in the works since the weekend. Hopefully they will be done with it today! When we were there last night, the whole upstairs was finsihed, along with the ceiling downstairs and the garage. Now they just need to be mudded and sanded before we paint. Well, they have to do the ceiling texture - THEN we can paint! Kyle and I are planning on taking a whole week off work so we can finish the house quickly. We have had many friends and family say they will help us out, so we hope it goes quick!

The siding is supposed to be delivered and maybe installed today. woot!

Here are some pics of the drywall upstairs:

Oh. And somebody doesn't know how to spell "dumpster". I guess this means this is the location of the new dumpster.
